I opened up a box one day
What treasures did I find!
Letters and some photographs
Of days we left behind
I drifted back to yesterday
The thought was oh, so clear

Great Granchild xxx

Congratulations GREAT NAN isnt that the best news we've had in AGES just wish that you could be here when the babies born! We know you will though just not in person and you wont miss that day for the world nan its hard when things like this happen and your not there to give a massive hug to i miss you nan with all my heart and we will all make sure that your great grandchild knows all about you and how absolutely wonderful you was and still are i know dean will make you sooo proud and it couldnt have happened with a nicer girl i know you'd like her too nan and if you were still alive it would be mum, me, jade and you going bingo lol. Dean and jade are the perfect couple to have your great grandchild goodnight & godbless nan xxx

I love you Nan

God saw you getting tired nan
and a cure was not to be,
so he put his arms around you
and wispered "come to me."
With tearfull eyes we watch you,
and saw you pass away.
Although we loved you dearly,
we could not make you stay.
A golden heart stopped beating,
hard working hands at rest.
God broke our hearts to prove to us,
